Visitors Week 2023

The Norman Church of Christ is excited to welcome you to Visitors Week! This weeklong event is designed to help you learn more about our church, make new meaningful Christian connections, and grow closer to God. We will offer a variety of activities and events, including:

• Worship services
• Bible study opportunities
• Christian fellowship / Social time
• And more!

We invite you to join us for Visitors Week and experience the love and fellowship of our church family.

Purpose

The purpose of Visitors Week is to fill the church building with local Normanites who are looking to learn more about local church options, grow their Bible knowledge, and make new Christian friends. This is the perfect event if you:

• Are new to the Norman community and are searching for a church family,
• Are a long-standing Norman resident looking to deepen your knowledge of God's word, or
• Are someone who just enjoys getting out to a worship service with fellow believers whenever the opportunity is available.

Fellowship Activities:

• Lunch and Fellowship (Sunday, July 23 & July 30, 12:00-1:30 PM)
• Snacks and Fellowship (Friday, July 28, 9:00-11:00 PM)
• Dinner and Fellowship (Saturday, July 29, 7:30-10:00 PM)

Speakers

There will be two speakers throughout the meeting:

• Jacob McKinney, Bible teacher based in Tulsa, Oklahoma (July 23)
• Kevin Presley, Evangelist based in Dothan, Alabama (July 24-30)

Resources

The following resources will be available to visitors during Visitors Week:

• Welcome packets
• Bible verse bookmarks and other study tools
• Contact information for local church leaders who can be reached for Bible studies or spiritual support

Expectations

The hope is that visitors will leave feeling welcomed, uplifted, supported, and having been exposed to strong gospel teaching that will help them grow closer to God. Ultimately, we want all of our visitors to have a wonderfully peaceful and inviting experience so that you choose to join us again in the future.
